X-Men: Apocalypse

Days of Future Past hasn't even hit theaters, and already word of what the next installment will be is starting to show up.

Via Bryan Singer's Twitter:

Over at The Wrap they continue on this little blurb suggesting that it's set for a May 27th, 2016 release.  This fits in line with other small rumors that Apocalypse might be making a cameo at the end of X-Men: Days Of Future Past.  No time period has been stated yet for the film or for where it'll fit in the timeline.  If it follows in the foot steps of the previous, then this one might be set in the 80s.  Though with what's talked about with a potential cameo, it may pick up straight after the events of Days of Future Past too.  It's too early to tell at this juncture.

Still no set date for when the X-Force feature would be released, but it's starting to look more towards it may not be using Apocalypse as the big bad, instead it may opt for a more human element like the Purifiers.  Only time will tell how this all intermingles within the confines of the Fox X-Men timeline.  No characters for either upcoming films have been announced as yet, but keep your fingers crossed.  We just might see X-23 grace the big screen soon in either one of these, maybe even both!
