X-23 is starting to show up on ebay from sellers in China. This usually means the figure is roughly a month and a half or less ready to start hitting store shelves.
Here's the auction. Don't worry, it's nearly time it'll hit store shelves where you'll only have to pay 7.99 if you're in the states, or whatever your normal local stores' prices are.
Special thanks goes out to AndyCR75 of Toyark for the heads up.

Marvel Universe Action Figures Rumor
As previously mentioned, there is an X-23 figure in the works for the MU line. Well now we have rumors coming in from CoolToyReview of just that.
According to this rumor she will be in wave 3 or 4 of 2011. The assortment listing rumor is as follows:
Wave 3 & 4 2011
X-23
Ultron
Darkhawk
Falcon
Dr. Strange
Steve Rogers
Namor
Scarlet Spider
Dr. Doom
Skaar
Special thanks to Toyark for making me aware of this and where the news came from. Now excuse me while I go squeal like a school girl for awhile about Darkhawk and X-23 in the same wave.
Also seriously, what's up with X-23 and the number 3?
3 years since her premiere in X-Men Evo, she gets an origin mini-series, she premiered in X-Men evo in 2003, of season 3, her second episode was episode 3 of season 4, the issue it finally comes out that she's actually more akin to a test-tube daughter of wolverine is issue 3 of volume 3, and now her MU figure will be in wave 3 of 2011, which is the 3rd year for MU figures too. Gee, I wonder if this explains a certain other thing a fan blog is trying to do within 3 years for release on her 10 year anniversary.

Official MU X-23 figure in the works.
Thanks to CTR, we now know an X-23 Marvel Universe figure is in the works. She'll be sporting what the newest Female body sculpt and articulation will be. Well, read the points of interest yourself.
Curto: The only exception being Kitty Pryde. Basically, We NEED another body type for female figures! Can you tell us anything on this...when we will see that?
Vonner: Yes, we're working on one now in fact.
Curto: Cool. Any hints on who will be the first character to debut it?
Vonner: Um...the character will be a fan-favorite. We're looking at it being X-23. She'll have some new points of articulation in there, we'll address the elbows, hips, and other "regions". This will be our new female figure from now on, and we'll have other "adjustments" as we go along.
Really, it was a toss-up between X-23 and She-Hulk. But the She-Hulk body type was limited because we really can't get a lot of mileage out of that body type. There are really only a few female characters that fit that body type in the Marvel Universe. We want to do a She-Hulk, but we have to think about things from a tooling standpoint, where else we can use the molds.
Curto: Right...well, there's at least 5 different costumes for She-Hulk by herself, and I can think of other characters like Titania, Thundra, and a few others that would fit that bill. But I understand what you are saying...she's considerably bigger than the typical female super-hero.
Vonner: Right. There are other other female characters with that body type that we can touch on, but X-23 offers more variety for us. Plus, here's another thing about X-23...that's Craig Kyle's favorite character.
Curto: Yeah, because he created her for the X-Men Evolution cartoon series...
Vonner: Exactly. Well, he's a real good friend and he's a fan of the line, and he's currently working on this little movie called THOR...he basically pinned me up against the wall and said "X-23. 'nuff said!" and he's kind of a big dude, so I didn't want to challenge him.
Curto: Nice. She's another character that's had a number of different costumes over the years. Which costume will this figure be for her: the "Fang" outfit, X-Men suit, or the X-Force costume, continuing to build that team?
Vonner: It will most likely be the X-Force costume. We already have Wolverine, Warpath, and the fans voted for Archangel for the Marvel.com exclusive. So this will flesh out that team more.
The interview goes further indepth about the line and upcoming selections, be sure to check it out.
Now excuse me, I have to go scream like a little girl in glee.

Snowflakian Custom Figures
So I tend to get bored on slow news days, no new comics to read, and I'm procastinating retro reviews. Over the past several months of nothing new mentioned in MU relating to X-23, I've decided to start making customs of her.
Months later, now I've got 6 different custom figures of her that I thought I'd share.
X-Men Evolution Covert Ops Suit from the intro.

X-Men Evolution (Cat Girl anime stylized) X-23

Academy X (Fox Movie-Universe stylized) Graduation Costume.

X-Force

Plain Clothes with cowboy hat.

DarkHawk Armor X-23 (A 'What if X-23 found an Order of the Raptors Amulet' Variant.)

More of this work can be found over at ToyArk.
